Indrajit Bardhan
Indrajit Bardhan is a strategic executive and seasoned business leader with 30 years of experience in prime services and broader equities, driving commercial outcomes at three major institutions: Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, and Goldman Sachs.
Over his career, Indrajit has managed risk and trading, built and restructured businesses, and helped banks through the financial crisis. He has extensive product knowledge in all aspects of prime brokerage, clearing, Delta 1 execution and financing, a broad client network among hedge funds, and industry‐leading expertise in bank funding and capital considerations.
Indrajit has a Ph.D. and M.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the IIT Mumbai. He is based in New York City.
Shaun Miell
Shaun Miell is a seasoned financial services executive with over 30 years of experience with specific expertise in equities and equity derivatives. Over his career, Shaun has founded a number of solution-driven businesses including LSEG’s cleared equity swap business born out of the SwapMatch™ acquisition by LSEG in 2017, ICAP’s global equity finance group, and an asset manager, managing UCIT funds, where he was a managing partner, with specific responsibility for risk management and trading.
Shaun started his carrier as a jobber on the floor of the London Stock Exchange where he spent over twelve years with Smith Brothers and Merrill Lynch.
Aamir Sheikh
Aamir Sheikh is a seasoned executive with a strong quantitative background and over 30 years of experience in financial markets. He has significant expertise in developing quantitative models, quantitative research, managing investments/risk, and leading and managing teams responsible for quantitative models, research, and investment and risk management.
Aamir has served in senior management roles across several organizations, large and small, with responsibility for both growing small startups and managing teams in large, established firms, including CEO and Chief Investment Officer at Echelon Capital Strategies, Managing Director Enterprise Portfolio Management Group at Bank of America, Managing Director Portfolio Analytics at Merrill Lynch, Global Head of Research at MSCI-Barra, and President of Barra Inc.
Aamir has a Ph.D. in Business Administration, specializing in Finance, from the University of California at Berkeley, with a dissertation focused on empirical topics in option pricing. He was A.B., summa cum laude, from Columbia University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Steven Garnett
Steve Garnett is a seasoned executive with over 30 years’ experience in financial services and specific areas of expertise in managing equities market risk as well as building disruptive financial services technology businesses.
In 2018 Steve founded Sakonnet Point Capital, a Quantitative Equity Fund Management Company. Prior to this, Steve was the Co-head of Americas Equities at Credit Suisse from 2011 to 2016. In this role Steve led the Americas Equities Division where he oversaw regional management of a business consisting of Cash Trading, Equity Derivatives, Prime Services, Equity Research and Equity Capital Markets. His key focus areas were trading and risk management. From 2009 to 2011 he was the Global Head of Cash Equities where he oversaw the Cash Trading business.
Prior to this from 1999 to 2010 he was the founder and Global Head of the Alternative Execution Products Group, a global product group within cash equities that included numerous technology intensive and quantitative trading businesses including market leading businesses in electronic trading, Program trading, Transition management, and Quantitative Trading Research. Prior to this he worked for Salomon Brothers from 1991 to 1999, where he ran their European Program Trading Group in London
Gautam Gujral
Gautam Gujral provides executive leadership in structured finance combined with extensive legal, regulatory, and management experience. He maintains a senior-level network across the blockchain space, regulatory bodies, trade associations, hedge funds, and financial service firms.
As a co-founder of Vertalo, Gautam also has extensive practical experience in the digital asset marketplace and regulations pertaining to that market segment.
Previously, Gautam was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse. Gautam also worked for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) where he received the prestigious SEC Capital Market Award for his groundbreaking work on Regulation of Exchanges and Alternative Trading Systems. He is also the recipient of the SEC’s Chairman’s Award for Excellence.
Gautam earned a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. from Colorado College. He is admitted to the Bar in New York, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. He is based in New Jersey.
Eric Jacobs
Eric Jacobs is an executive leader in the Financial Services industry with nearly 30 years of experience spanning Risk Management, Treasury, Accounting, and Operations.
Most recently, Mr. Jacobs spent 17+ years at King Street Capital Management, a $20+ billion global alternative asset-manager, as Director of Finance and Director of Risk Management. In this role, he led the development of an institutional class risk management infrastructure and process, primarily utilizing technology developed in-house with King Street’s Technology team. Prior to King Street, Mr. Jacobs spent 9 years at Goldman Sachs in the Product Controllers group focusing on commodities and managing teams focused on Equity Derivatives and Credit Derivatives.
Mr. Jacobs has a BBA from the University of Michigan with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance and an MBA from New York University with an emphasis in Economics and Finance. Additionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant.
David Sayles
David Sayles has over thirty years of buy- and sell-side experience in structured products, trading, portfolio management, risk management, quantitative modeling and corporate finance. He has worked in asset classes including public and private developed- and EM-fixed income and equities, MBS, foreign exchange, commodities and derivatives. He has acted as an advisor or portfolio manager to institutional investors, corporate treasuries, banks, insurance companies, governments, central banks and clearinghouses.
David has held roles at commercial and investment banks, asset managers and at the International Finance Corporation. At BlackRock, he traded derivatives on behalf of over a dozen bank and insurance clients to remediate market risks arising out of their origination activities. He was also a member of BlackRock’s financial crisis unit during the GFC, working on behalf of governments, central banks, clearinghouses and insurance companies. He has also taught at the Stern School of Business at New York University.
David received his S.M. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his B.S. from Yale University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Khosrow Dahi
Khosrow Dahi has over 25 years of experience in the design and development of various front office and risk management systems in quantitative finance.
Prior to Panoramix, Khosrow was the Chief Technology Officer at Laurion Capital Management, a multi-strategy quantitative hedge fund, from its inception to 2017. Additionally, he was the Chief Risk Officer at Laurion from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, he was a senior development executive at Bear Stearns, Morgan Stanley, and Goldman Sachs, developing trading and risk systems for various cash and derivatives products.
Khosrow received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and his B.S in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. He received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1998 and his Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation in 1999. He is based in New York City.
Oliver Jordan
Oliver Jordan is a leader in the areas of corporate governance and regulatory risk management. He maintains a senior-level network across regulatory bodies and financial services firms in North America and the Caribbean regions. He is also Chairman of the Board of a regulator in Barbados, with responsibility for establishing standards for institutional strengthening and for the control and management of risk in the financial services sector.
Previously Oliver was Partner, Advisory Services with PwC, a Managing Director for CIBC Bank’s operations in the Eastern Caribbean and Chief Operating Officer for a general insurance company.
Oliver holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto, and an MBA in Banking & Financial Services from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA) of Ontario, Canada and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He splits his time between Toronto, Canada and Bridgetown, Barbados.
Dr Kosrow Dehnad
Dr. Dehnad is on the faculty of Columbia University and New York University. He has held senior positions in Structuring, Risk Management, and Trading in rates and credit at Chase Manhattan Bank, Citibank, and Samba Financial Group. He has worked at AT&T Bell Labs where he published the book Quality Control and Taguchi Method. His latest book Blockchain Investors’ Manual was published in 2020.
Dr. Dehnad received his BSc. in Mathematics with first-class honors from the University of Manchester and Doctorate degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and Stanford University. He is based in New York.
Katia Babbar
Katia Babbar is a Financial Markets executive with a career spanning 20+ years. As a senior leader in Markets, Katia has experience in building and growing Foreign Exchange (FX) businesses, from delivering enterprise quantitative analytics and risk management for derivatives to running electronic market making trading desks. She has a keen interest in disruptive technologies which bring innovation to business models across Financial Institutions.
Katia worked for over 12 years at Lloyds Banking Group, where she held responsibility as Managing Director of the Electronic FX Market Making business, leading teams of traders, quant traders and technologists, being accountable executive for multi-million pounds technology change programs. Katia also led the PRA (UK regulator) Algo Trading supervisory statement at Lloyds, as well as a Markets-wide strategic investment in technology initiative on behalf of the board. Previous to joining Lloyds, Katia worked at the FX Derivatives desk at Citi and UBS, where she started her career.
More recently, Katia became an advisor to emerging Decentralized Finance (DeFi) protocols and Crypto Derivatives Exchanges. She brings expertise and insight to senior executives into the Digital Assets ecosystem. She also volunteers as a non-executive director for an academy.
Katia has been a Lecturer at the University of Oxford since 2018, where she teaches statistics and machine learning for the MSc in Mathematical Finance program. She holds a BSc in Mathematics from UCL and received her PhD in Financial Mathematics from Imperial College London
Pankaj Kapoor
Pankaj Kapoor has over 25 years of experience in the areas of Business Process Outsourcing and Controls across Equities and specifically Prime Services and Fund Administration. He has worked at a number of Financial Institutions including Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse.
Over his career Pankaj has developed strategies, built new businesses, restructured existing operations and implemented large scale organizational change initiatives (people, process and technology) across the BPO and control functions.
Pankaj is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is based out of Mumbai, India.
Douglas Paul
Senior Advisor
Doug Paul is a Wall Street veteran with over fifty years of experience in distribution, relationship management, and capital markets. As a Vice Chairman of Credit Suisse for over twenty years, he represented the bank with both issuers and investors around the world. He worked closely with both sales, trading, and risk management to ensure that the bank optimized its risk exposure to the bank’s largest counterparties. He was head of global fixed income distribution and a member of the Global Fixed Income Operating Committee. In 2010, Doug was awarded the bank's Aeppli Prize for extraordinary leadership.
In addition to his work at Credit Suisse, he was President of Anderson Global Macro, a macro hedge fund that launched in 2014. There, he was responsible for overseeing the funds operations and risk exposure as well as fundraising.
Doug is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and is an executive board member of the Foreign Policy Association where he was awarded the FPA Medal in 2017.
Doug received his BA from Franklin and Marshall College and his MBA from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.
Jeff Penney
Senior Advisor
Jeff Penney is a consultant, advisor, and leadership coach who was formerly Chief Strategy Officer of Two Sigma Investments, Global Head of Strategy for the Corporate and Investment Bank of JPMorgan and is a Senior Advisor to McKinsey & Company. Prior to consulting, Jeff had a 25-year management career in finance as Head of Americas Sales and Co-Head of Global Markets Financing at Merrill Lynch, Head of Equity Financing Products and Co-Head of Equity Product Marketing at Morgan Stanley. His finance career began in Fixed Income at First Boston and eventually Credit Suisse Financial Products.
Jeff holds a BSE from Princeton University, where he serves on the Advisory Board of the Department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering. He based in New York City.
Balaji Gopalakrishnan

Balaji Gopalakrishnan is an accomplished finance professional with deep experience in the areas of trading, risk management, and technology. He has worked at a number of premier financial institutions for over 25 years including Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse.
Balaji has an MS in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University (NYU/Tandon School of Engineering) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He spends his time between Brooklyn, NY, and Winston-Salem, NC.
